Back in 1999-2001, I collaborated with other G.I. Joe fans to create an online comic book called Cobra the Enemy. Though we never met face to face, via online chats and E-mail exchanges, we were able to put together twenty-four pages for the first issue and eight pages of a second issue. Making comics is a lot of work. Especially when you aren't getting paid.

Though it was an amateur effort, the result was well received. It was also a great learning experience for me. The comic was formerly only available online at Cobraaa.com, a web site which also served as a repository of G.I. Joe fan art, fiction, and information for the entire online Joe commmunity. Unfortunately, Cobraaa.com doesn't seem to be in operation anymore and there are no prospects for completing issue #2. I decided to display the 2 issues here at jmort.com. I am posting these comics as PDFs in order to make it easier to view and print them. You will need Adobe reader software to be able to view the PDFs.
