Illustrator Intermediate

While working for Element K, I authored and coauthored instructional manuals for graphics software titles. I upgraded the Adobe Illustrator manuals (Introduction, Intermediate, and Advanced). While the first and last books required moderate changes for the upgrade, the Intermediate manual was completely rewritten in order to cover new features.

In the new course, students learn intermediate Illustrator skills such as creating compound and offset paths, utilizing the pathfinder commands, and using the new Transparency palette. They learn these skills while creating the advertisement for a children's zoo at left.
