Shares Chairs, and Barn
Repairs was a fund-raising project I illustrated for Cedar Ridge Community Church. The artwork was for a campaign to raise money
to repair a barn on the church property. As part of the fundraising effort, a graphic designer created an informational brochure. The pastor wrote a poem in the style of Dr. Suess about about the church's need for a barn to provide additional space for Sunday school. I created several illustrations to 
accompany the text.
While we wanted to create a "Seuss-like" appearance, we also had to be careful not to be too close to his style, because his style is, in fact, copyrighted.
I had only one day to produce the eleven illustrations that were used in the pamphlet. I was able to work fast to create and colorize the illustrations.
The illustrations ended up being used in many different ways... in buttons, posters, stationery, and fliers. The church was very happy with the designs and the campaign was a success!
